St Andrew’s Junior Prep held it’s own Science Day, where classrooms transformed into laboratories and children into scientists conducting various exciting experiments. The focus of the morning was chemical reactions – always a winner at any age or stage! The children made mini volcanoes and watched in awe as ripples of colour expanded and mixed in a tray of milk. They learned how water and oil do not combine and how the most common room the every home (the kitchen) is a treasure trove of experiment supplies!
