To break a record – particularly one that has been long-standing – is no mean feat, but deep into our second year of Covid constraints and cancelled/postponed sport events, it is absolutely marvellous!
Congratulations to our four Junior Preppies who broke several records: Duncan McCallum broke the record set by D. Austin (1999) 2.96 in Long Jump. The new record is 3.22m D. McCallum (2021).
Onwaba Zono broke the record set by L. Mdlankomo (2015) 12.50s in 75m. The new record is 12.34s O. Zono (top right) 12.34s (2021).
Omphile Khalatha (second left above) (6.14.67) and Amy Richardson (top left) (6.15.45 ) broke the record set by L. Holderness (2018) 6.15.98min in Cross Country. The new record is 6.14.67min O. Khalatha (2021).
We, as Prep staff, are pleased as punch – we know our parents are too!
