St Andrew's Prep 125th Anniversary Reunion Weekend

The St Andrew's Prep 125th Anniversary Reunion Weekend was a huge success. Old boys and girls came from far and wide and joined in to make it a truly memorable occasion in the life of the School.

The Art & Music evening last Thursday was also extremely well received and thanks must go to Mrs Sasha Scholtz and Mrs Carmen O'Donoghue for their efforts. The high standard that we enjoy in matters cultural is attributed to them and the hard working teachers. On the Friday evening the Old Preppies enjoyed an evening of entertainment which was a presentation of songs which highlighted and marked the history of this remarkable school. A Choir member came up with the notion of calling the show "The Blues Cruise"...a cruise down Memory Lane for all those who were True Blue Preppies.

Saturday was a day for sports, fun and celebration, beginning with a Prep vs Old Preppies Cricket match on Fairlawn field. This was followed by a picnic, photographs and the very fun tradition of Monkey Dorm Races in Memory Hall. The day culminated with the Reunion Banquet which was a heartfelt and memorable celebration for all Old Preppies, parents and staff.

The celebratory weekend was appropriately concluded with a Prep Thanksgiving Service in Memory Hall on Sunday morning.
