Tikkie Aand:
Tikkie Aand is a traditional end of term games evening held at St Andrew's Prep and dates back to the days when a 'tikkie' was still a form of currency! The children from Pre-Primary to Grade 7 have a great time at the games stalls and indulging themselves in treats from the tuck shop, while the parents and staff help at the stalls and have a chance to socialise too.

SPRING HAS SPRUNG:
The St Andrew's Prep Grade 4 boys have thoroughly enjoyed the wonderful process of incubating chicken eggs, turning them daily and watching each one hatch before their eyes. Each boy was allocated an egg; they nurtured them while learning about the life cycle and the wonders of nature. It was quite magical to witness the excitement and amazement as the boys watched their own little eggs hatch and the fluffy yellow chicks emerge after a short while.

Our senior rugby, hockey and squash teams, as well as the Marimba Band, returned from a very successful tour of KwaZulu Natal, visiting Underberg, Howick, Pietermaritzburg and Umthlali near Durban. The teams played a total of 11 fixtures in all, winning 8 of them, whilst the Marimba Band proved to be a hit in more ways than one! More importantly, however, the boys were a credit to the school in terms of their conduct and general decorum.
