Junior Engineers for Africa (JEFA) spent a week with the St Andrew’s Pre-Primary and Junior Prep pupils last week exploring design-thinking, robotics, thinking strategies and engineering systems which include the intricate workings of pulleys, gears and pneumatics.
With Lego all over the place, little robots doing fantastical things and children laying their own headers and stretchers to create models of everything from bridges to viaducts, we hope to greatly inspire the next generation of artists, craftsmen and women.
