Most of our Preppies play a musical instrument. Some play more than one. Their ambitions are great, their hopes are high and they are achieving well, so the Trinity Music examiners tell us. Of the fifteen children who took their Trinity Music exams, 7 achieved distinctions and 8 achieved merit. We are proud of you all!

It’s a boys world. We understand them.

“Boys are found everywhere-on top of, underneath, inside of, climbing on, swinging from, running around or jumping to. Mothers love them, little girls hate them, older sisters and brothers tolerate them, adults ignore them and Heaven protects them. A boy is Truth with dirt on its face, Beauty with a cut on its finger, Wisdom with bubble gum in its hair and the Hope of the future with a frog in its pocket.”

REMEMBRANCE DAY PARADE

The Remembrance Day Parade
REMEMBRANCE DAY PARADE

The Remembrance Day Parade is an annual event that holds significance within the Andrean community and the community of Makhanda. On this solemn occasion, our Family of Schools community comes together to honour and pay tribute to the brave men and women who have sacrificed their lives in the service of their country. The pupils, staff and parents from our Family of Schools participate in this ceremony, reflecting our schools' commitment to instilling a deep sense of gratitude and remembrance for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. The parade serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of preserving the memory of fallen heroes and instilling a sense of duty and patriotism in the hearts of the future leaders nurtured within the walls of St Andrew's and our Family of Schools.
-Lest We Forget –
There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. – John 15:13
