K-Day Challenge

St Andrew’s Prep, DSG, St Andrew’s College and Kingswood College communities teamed up in a run/cycle challenge this past weekend in celebration of the annual K-Day derby in which the four schools compete in various fields. The competition is always fierce and the weekend is jam-packed with fixtures, concerts, war cries, war paint, war dances, coffee and food stalls and brightly dressed supporters.

This year, our schools teamed up in a cumulative cycle/run which was intended to reach Cairo from Grahamstown. Our enthusiastic supporters ran way past Cairo and completed 8,300km, ending up somewhere in Greece! Congratulations to everyone who joined in! Together we can do this!
