The weekend temperatures inland soared to the high 30s, but the temperatures at the sea were vastly different. On Sunday morning, 18 Senior Prep boys decided to battle the icy water and very windy weather to swim the annual Bushman’s River half-mile race.
Along with several other schools, the Preppies tackled the rough, choppy water, trying to keep up with Mr Brady during the race and finish off with a very welcome ice-cold Coke in their hands.
Congratulations to all the boys who participated, and especially to the following boys who won the top three placings for Prep:
1st: Chase Repinz (Grade 7)
2nd: Ben Warren (Grade 7)
3rd: Hamish Duggan (Grade 6)
Well done, boys!
