Memory Hall was rocking and rolling last night at our final Gala performance of the Grade 7 Production Aladdin Jr.

The camel, carrying Prince Ali of Agrabah, was friendly enough, taking a camel bow for Acting Headmaster Aidan Smith and doing a side-step jig as it left the hall.

The Genie was in top form, popping out of nowhere (literally – bangs, streamers and all!) and filling the stage with magic and dance.

Jafar was as fearsome as his side-kick Iago was witty.

It’s hard to believe that the Grade 6 boys were the ones behind the scenes, arranging props, handling lighting and sound and organising the actors. It was a thoroughly magnificent performance!
